Celebrating 25 Years: Looking Forward

Written By: Kevin Reardon, CFP®

This year, we’ve been celebrating our 25th anniversary as a firm, and WOW what a year it has been! In January, we shared the exciting announcement that Andrea Bulen became President of Shakespeare and we added two firm shareholders, Brian Ellenbecker and Ryan Rink. In May, we celebrated our milestone anniversary at Fiserv Forum with so many great clients, family and friends in attendance. Our summer party in August was a festive occasion, with over 100 people joining us on the shores of Pewaukee Lake for food and good cheer. These were surreal experiences for me, hearing wonderful comments from so many and seeing our long-term clients and friends interact with the Shakespeare team.

We took time to reflect on our past and reaffirmed our values throughout the year. We wrote blog articles about the history of the firm, our unique value proposition for clients, our investment philosophy, and the Shakespeare team culture and core values which have guided us through critical decisions over the years. To see the firm grow from less than 25 client households in 1999 to 250+ households today is proof that our clients value what we do and trust us with their lifesavings. We remain steadfast in our commitment to growth, our fiduciary duty and fostering lasting client relationships.

Our journey over the last 25 years has been wonderful, but it’s the future we are most excited about. We now have six partners/shareholders in the company, working together to serve your current needs and ensuring the firm will be here for future generations. We know there will always be unknown challenges, but our discipline, perseverance, and commitment are principles you can count on for the next 25 years.

You, our valued clients, have made the last 25 years truly memorable. I extend a heartfelt thank you for the trust and confidence you’ve placed in us. It is an honor to not only to serve you, but also to get to know you and your family on a personal level. We are eager to build a bright and prosperous future together.

With Gratitude,

Kevin Reardon, CFP®
